Jessica Biel and Uma Thurman join up for Playing the Field
According to Variety, Gabriele Muccino is directing from a script by Robbie Fox.
Gerard Butler stars as a former pro soccer player who finds himself dodging romantic advances from soccer moms after he agrees to coach his son's youth team in an attempt to bond with the boy.
Jessica Biel will play Gerard Butler's ex-wife who is engaged to be re-married, while Uma Thurman will play a fellow parent who sets out to seduce the coach.
Playing the Field is scheduled to start production next month.
Playing for Keeps was released December 7th, 2012 and stars Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Noah Lomax, Dennis Quaid, Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, James Tupper, Judy Greer. The film is directed by Gabriele Muccino.
