Last night I was in the unforgiving desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico, on a set visit for this unique religious horror flick, Legion, which stars Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Willa Holland and Tyrese Gibson. Tyrese was one of the gracious stars kind enough to chat with us between takes and besides chatting about that current film, he had a few things to say about some other projects, one of which, might have him pitying the proverbial fool.

That's right. Tyrese told us that he is very close to landing the role of B.A. Baracus in John Singleton's remake of The A-Team. While he still hasn't officially signed on for the part, and he noted that the script is still being developed, the genial actor was obviously enthusiastic about the project.

While he wouldn't say much about the upcoming Transformers 2 he'll be working on, he gave us a heads up on another project he is apparently involved with.

"Look out for a film called Desert Eagle," he told us. He was on his way to the set and couldn't divulge any more details about that film and what his involvement may be.

The A-Team was released June 11th, 2010 and stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Quinton Jackson, Sharlto Copley, Patrick Wilson, Gerald McRaney, Henry Czerny. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan.
