Tyrese Gibson, Rachael Taylor, And Amaury Nolasco Join Transformers

Rachael Taylor and Amaury Nolasco have signed on to Transformers for DreamWorks and Paramount.

The film, directed by Michael Bay, is the live-action adaptation of the 1980s Hasbro toy line of giant robots that morph into cars, trucks, planes and ships. The trio join the already cast Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Jon Voight and Bernie Mac. The Hollywood Reporter says Taylor will play Maggie Marconi, a codebreaker at a think tank; Nolasco and Gibson are Army officers.

Transformers is scheduled to begin production later this month; a July 4th, 2007 date has been set for release.

Transformers was released July 2nd, 2007 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Rachael Taylor, Anthony Anderson, Jon Voight, John Turturro. The film is directed by Michael Bay.
