Tyrese Gibson and Joan Allen Joins the Cast of Death Race 3000
Tyrese joins previously confirmed cast member Jason Statham, where the two tough guys face the most unlikely of opponents, Anderson announced ... Joan Allen (The Bourne Ultimatum). "She kicks the most ass out of everybody," Anderson smiled, revealing for the first time that the three-time Oscar nominee will join the cast as well.
Anderson pledges that the film is a "faithful remake" which follows a group of contestants on a cross-country race who score points for running down pedestrians.
The movie is set for release in 2008.
Death Race was released August 22nd, 2008 and stars Jason Statham, Joan Allen, Ian McShane, Tyrese Gibson, Natalie Martinez, Max Ryan, Jason Clarke, Frederick Koehler. The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.
