Tyler Perry is in talks with Jennifer Hudson to star in Tyler Perry's the Family That Preys, a film that will also star Sanaa Lathan, Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard and Rockmond Dunbar. Variety reports that this will be the sixth film that Perry has done for Lionsgate with Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns opening on March 21st.

The script focuses on two very different families that become intimately involved in love and business. Tyler Perry's Family That Preys will be Perry's first film with a strong story line that involves white characters.

Tyler Perry's Family That Preys will begin shooting March 2nd at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.

Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns was released March 21st, 2008 and stars Tyler Perry, David Mann, Tamela J. Mann, Angela Bassett, Lance Gross, Chloe Bailey, Mariana Tolbert, Rick Fox. The film is directed by Tyler Perry.
