Two to Star in My Sister's Keeper

Abigail Breslin has just signed on to replace Elle Fanning in My Sister's Keeper. According to Variety, Sofia Vassilivea is in negotiations to replace Dakota Fanning in the New Line Cinema drama directed by Nick Cassavetes.

Sources said that Dakota refused to shave her head for the project and both sisters abruptly withdrew. My Sister's Keeper centers around a young girl (Breslin) who sues for emancipation from parents who conceived her as a genetic match so she could prolong the life of her ailing older sister (Vassilieva).

Production for My Sister's Keeper is scheduled to start in March.

My Sister's Keeper was released June 26th, 2009 and stars Abigail Breslin, Walter Raney, Sofia Vassilieva, Cameron Diaz, Heather Wahlquist, Jason Patric, Evan Ellingson, Alec Baldwin. The film is directed by Nick Cassavetes.
