Loki doesn't look menacing in these now that I really really see them

Natalie alone isn't a draw for non-Thor fans. But on the tail of Black Swan with Kenneth Branagh directing and Sir Anthony Hopkins starring as well, even ardently elitist art-housers might be buying a ticket (albeit in dark sunglasses and a hat).
Plus all accounts I've read have gushed about the script.

These posters are awesome. Best yet, but I did like the first one. I like that the one here has a helmet shot.
The only negativity I ever hear about this flick is from whiny fanboys who think TDK or Iron Man are the only films that ever should be made. Basically, comic fans who don't have much imagination, which you would think would be an oxymoron. Apparently not.
I swear, how do Nolan and Favreau even have time to make films with that long line of creepy fanboys on their knees waiting to service them?

Again, I'm fascinated with how prominent they're making Heimdall in these promo images. Is it just to have some ethnic representation on the posters? Or is Heimdall going to be playing a much larger role in the film than previously indicated?

@ensigndesign That first teaser poster is definitely my favourite. I have it as the wallpaper on my phone.

I like these. But really you guys are digging these murals more than the simple and dramatic standing with the red cape? I thought the first was very creative and unlike anything I have seen before.

Man i like the tagline "Courage is IMMORTAL" it's like it's giving the movie how to be a hero feel to it

The first poster is cool-looking, but makes it look like the movie is called "Thor: Courage is Immortal" LOL.

Hopkins seems to be getting better with age. Despite the success - or lack thereof, for that matter - of some of his films, he is always the one constant.

What would be really awesome is if they were putting an Avengers Assemble icon on each of the posters for films leading up to that movie.

@felipe-11 they did that for two reasons (1) to lure those who are completely unfamiliar with Thor as a comic legend, (2) possibly b/c they are insecure with the product standing on its own merit. instead they capitalize on the success of previous projects.
and i agree - uneccessary! i hate it when studios do that.
