Vin Diesel says two more Fast & Furious films are on the way
It seems that last year's Fast & Furious, which reunited Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster from the first film, was just the tip of the iceberg. Star Vin Diesel recently updated his Facebook page with the news that two more films in the franchise are in development. Here is Diesel's post on his page.

If 2009's Fast & Furious was chapter one, what writer Chris Morgan just delivered is Chapter 2 and chapter 3.

I have never been submitted a two story saga from a studio before... it is very exciting, and shows a commitment level that is hard not to respond to.

Excited about the sexy locations the filming of this sag...

We'll be sure to keep you posted on any and all updated regarding these Fast & Furious follow-up films.

Fast & Furious was released April 3rd, 2009 and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, John Ortiz, Laz Alonso, Gal Gadot, Jack Conley. The film is directed by Justin Lin.

Don't take these movies seriously. I mean Spider guy, u just waxed poetic about The F*CKing FAst and Subvservient films for a good paragraph. Shame on you wasting vital brain matter.

If they have some interesting and fresh idea for a movie why not,
but the power of drawing the past ideas is not a good think.
The first part was probably the best, the second bit is defended some elements but it was definitely weaker, Tokyo Drift gave fresh interesting idea, and four showed you something to do with the old team which will have their hands and feet, but the new parts are needed to interesting innovative options .

I only watch them because I like females and care little about cars. The first film is the better out of all of them.

Oh God, I thought we were done with these movies. A friend of mine gets erections over cars and watches these things religiously in a futile attempt to overcome his issues with masculinity. Any guy who likes these movies or are car enthusiasts in general are gay. Everyone knows that cars are phallic symbols, so obsessing over them is like collecting sculptures of dicks.

The first & last Fast & Furious are good, broad entertainment. With the unexpected large success of the 4th movie, sequels were inevitable...the last one was a fun, fast paced car movie with the original cast that fans cared about...and the cool jail bus break at the end deleivered the same outlaw fun of the original, making me look forward to the next movie.

I like how alot of people bitch about the fast & furious movies being crappy cash cows (as if most movies aren't)...a Car, action movie that's mostly racing/stunt driving is just not/should not be compared to compelling, arty, Oscar-bait movies, falsely comparing apples to oranges. The F&F movies are the definition of escapist, put your brain on hold for 96 minutes entertainment. It is what it is, a thrill ride car movie with flexing male egoes, hot women & badass cars driving badass! Kind of like a modern day grindhouse movie with more money & cinematography.

  10. The Narrator: The Better Man

Agreed. The first was good and the last was decent. I actually partially enjoyed the third one. I mean there was more story there than the second one at least. I guess people don't like Japanese cars and "drifting". Either way the franchise is not doing so hot at all. They should have left it after the first one, as a stand alone adrenaline film, which is and always will be the best.

Sigh, at least I will always have Point Break in my collection if these two sequels go t*ts up which it probably will.

Enough is enough! "The Fast and the Furious" was good. "2 Fast 2 Furious" was completely disappointing (Eva Mendes aside). "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" was absolutely horrid. "Fast & Furious" was actually very good, which surprised me. I don't want another suckfest. They need to leave the series where it is. 2/4 isn't bad, but it's not great. Why chance any more awfulness?

Cool. I wasnt a huge fan of the second and third, like everyone else. however they were still entertaining.

Fast and Furious was very enjoyable. This is def good news. XSSIV said it best, there is still LOTS there to dig up on the characters and what has/will happen.

One and the last one was the best of them all. 2 was ok, but with out Vin, was a wash, The rest sucked monkey balls. It as nothing but driving stuff, and no real story.

I enjoyed the whole series. Third was different but fun. Wish Michelle Rodriguez should have lived, the film is not really a reunion because she only had scenes with Diesel. Either way I'd like to see a few more with Vin Diesel & Paul Walker...

    sweet
they should get this franchise back on its feet
2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift were awful NASCAR commercials
but Im wondering, are the movies still going to be good even though Letty is gone?
