Two 3D Matrix films in the Works?
It is being rumored that Keanu Reeves met with the Wachowski's for lunch over Christmas and that they had completed work on a two-picture script treatment that would see him return to the world of the Matrix as Neo.
Also, the Wachowski's apparently met with James Cameron to discuss the pros and cons of 3D and are looking to deliver something which has never been seen before.
The Matrix was released March 31st, 1999 and stars Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, Gloria Foster, Joe Pantoliano, Marcus Chong, Julian Arahanga. The film is directed by Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski.

@The Dude! I really didn't use one movie site against another. Read the post of the person I was talking to and that person was doing it. All I did was post an article saying that it was proven to be a lie. Which come on how hard is it to believe this is story is not true? And somehow even after I backup what I said with prove I am still wrong.

@Gnyah123 ok now thats really not true, an actor is never to old to reprise his role as the main character, look at willis, 54 years old and still doing die hard, jackie chan 56 still doing rush hour and other action films, and the for the record @TheDude1 unlike other movie sites movieweb doesnt always show everything thats planned for release much later, they dont always know for sure when the film will be made or when it will be released until they start

as far as the matrix... i am not suprised... they certainly could live up to expectations and make a sequel to speed racer... however we all know how that would turn out. I hope this is a false rumor... or they let someone else have the reigns of it... the last two matrix's were horrible... they were overhyped, marketed well, and drowned the original film in all its genius. take a pass on this one.

if they do...they need to do it ASAP cuz keanu is 46 years old...getting old...thats wat happen wit tobey..they was gon do spider man 4 but they pulled him out cuz he was old so thats why they made a reboot of spiderman...but i hope this is true it wud be ill...i wonder who the bad guy wud be though??....so weird cuz all 3 movies were playing over the weekend on TBS

@frankenfate If that is the case then why doesn't Movieweb at least come out and say it is yet to be proven. We all know Movieweb is often wrong and posts articles that often turn out to be false.

last i checked movie web doesnt lie, and u know wat, ur a lie, how do u know if the story u read is true huh??? exactly point made u dont know, the story u read could be a lie, we dont know wats true and wats not so dont say that u can tell wats a lie, the only way to know for sure is to wait for the future to come and see wat happens

If you read that article it is confirmed by Keanu's rep and the studio to be a lie. Not to mention the school he was apparently at also confirmed he was not there. Thus this story is a big lie.
