Two Marvel's The Avengers Banners with Sam Jackson and Cobie Smulders
Two new character banners have dropped for Marvel's The Avengers, and while the art, which boasts most of the main cast, is similar to what we've seen before, these do offer our first look at Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill. Check them out below.

Marvel's The Avengers was released May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.

So far everything I seen for this looks like crap. Yannick said it best, one of the most anticipated movies of the year and one of the worst promo art and marketing jobs ever. At this point Im not even interested any more in this...

@ghostman Maybe Captain America wont look real cheesy in the Avenger movie when it released to theaters, because by then the Avengers movie will be completed and edited and released. I'm sure they'll fix some things in the movie after filming is completed, and i remember hearing not too long ago about this movie going through some reshoots. Wasn't it going through some reshoots ?

I can't understand why one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the year and comic-book movie ever is getting such horrible, horrible posters. Every single piece of marketing I've seen around this movie looks like sh*t. Things look cheap and cheesy. Come on now, give us something stylish, ambitious and epic. I would understand if the film was a disappointment because The Avengers seems like something that's difficult to pull off successfully, but there's no excuse for terrible posters. The marketing people need to get it together.

Yeah, maybe they'll put out more posters before the movie comes out. It's still three months away. I would expect a big marketing push in the coming months given that this is Marvel's BIG title.

@shuabert - I mean give us a poster that looks like an actual movie poster. These look too cartoony and they look like they are meant to advertise toys or something.

@moviemaniac66 What do you mean? These are actual posters. They're character posters, just placed side by side.

@ghostman I get the feeling Thor won't really be wearing his helmet in this movie. It's more of a ceremonial part of his Asgardian royal status, whereas he seems more to be donning the Avengers "uniform" this time around. Presumably this whole movie is set on earth, so it makes sense.
