LightTower Entertainment is financing this redo. The plan is to shoot the film this summer and have it ready for Mother's Day 2010.
Mother's Day comes to theaters May 11th, 2012 and stars Rebecca De Mornay, Jaime King, Patrick Flueger, Warren Kole, Matt O'Leary, Deborah Ann Woll, Briana Evigan, Frank Grillo. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.

Err

I thought they were going to have special Mother's Day horror DVDs and got excited there for a minute. But no, I have to look at stupid sappy movies for Mother's Day everywhere I go. At least I have Star Trek to look forward to on Sunday.
This film is going to depend on budget and cast.
