@pjwolsker Umm...vampires do have blood. In most interpretations of the vampire myth, you can't be "turned" by a vampire unless you drink each other's blood. That's why vampirism is often eroticised or used as a metaphor for sexuality and HIV.

Just put rated R for all of them and just kill off all the good vampires and leave the bad ones alone. The only vampires I like in these books were the counsel, at least they were believable.
Meyer needs to go back to writing school. If she wants to continue this series than write about the counsel instead at least they know how to fight.
