Raelle Tucker talks True Blood Season 5
First, it has been revealed that the series' return in the summer of 2012 will bring some new characters, as well as focus on some characters that haven't quite gotten their due just yet. This is what Raelle Tucker had to say.
"There will be a very significant, strong, mysterious woman at the center of one of our main stories next year. That will be a very familiar and compelling character. It may be someone you've heard of before. Season 5 will explore more fairies, new fairies, fairies in a way you haven't really seen fairies. We will all, as well as Sookie, come to understand fairies more than in previous seasons."
Raelle Tucker went onto reveal that the identity of the wolf seen growing at Sam (Sam Trammell) near the end of the Season 4 finale will be revealed, but he would not confirm if it was Alcide's (Joe Manganiello) father, who is a fixture in the fifth of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse novels. As well, Russell (Denis O'Hare ) will be back.
"Russell is not dead. It's safe to assume the king of Mississippi is not gone for good."
Also look for Sookie's (Anna Paquin) independent streak to continue next year.
"While there will always be romance in Sookie's life, Sookie at the moment is choosing herself over all of them. I think that will continue to play into season 5."

@ROFLitschristian i was skeptic of the show for a long time , then out of curiosity i watched a few episodes and got kind of hooked. there's quite a bit of nudity in it so that definitely helps.

it'll probably be the real claudine, the claudine you heard from was an imposter trying to hurt sookie because of her fairy ancestry which is royalty, or it might be the tv show actually killed off claudine when eric gulped her down, and her cousin hadley is the fairy whom reveals sookies royal fairy bloodline, which is very powerful but also has many enemies.

Not a fan of the fairy stuff, but Russell and the preacher coming back should be entertaining. Agree with @shuabert, Jesus and Tara were dead weight. Tara has been needing to go for a while. That dam lip quiver she does annoys the sh*t out of me.

@slysnide Well you know its more of a supernatural show. Vampires are there but they also got warewolves, changlings, witches and faieries (ya i know its weird) and some other beings/creatures that come and go bump in the night.

I'm glad they killed of Jesus. He was dead weight all season, and it has sucked shackling a great character like Lafayette to someone so boring. I like Tara, but she did absolutely nothing all season, so it's no big deal for her to go (but a great scene where she got shot). But, man. Bringing back Rev. Newin and Russel Edgington? Best idea ever.
Best moments in the finale?
