Tron: Legacy Pay-Off Trailer!

It's another Tron Tuesday, and this time, Walt Disney Pictures has released the brand new 'pay-off' trailer for the highly-anticipated sci-fi sequel Tron: Legacy, which will be released in theaters nationwide on December 17. Tron: Legacy was released December 17th, 2010 and stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheen, Anis Cheurfa. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski.

    the trailer was awesome! it was like The Matrix, another universe, another odyssey. I even can relate this to Smith v Stark being a CEO (he doesnt need that Iron Monger suit) the one he created here is beyond today's tech! hehehe!. This film and its predecessor will relive the franchise that will influx more Tron fans!

    i have the feeling this is gonna b boring..somewhat like the movie "speed racer" NOTHING BUT COLORS. and a short story. the previews and trailers look kickass, and awsome but, if all ur gonna see is racing, cat and mouse ingame mode then, thats rather boring. hopfully im wrong and it turns out a classic movie.

    I'm not nearly as excited for this as I am to see what Joseph Kosinski does next. That guy has some serious talent and this film is going to put him on the map, regardless of how well it does at the box office. I hope it does very well so that his next project, Oblivion, gets a huge budget for him to work with and allows him to bring the vision he desires to the big screen.

    That trailer was pretty badass, quite intense there at the end, but I foresee a lot of problems with this film that wont ride well with audiences. FIrst off, and most importantly, the effects are far too videogame-ish in many of the scenes, like when the motorcycle flies off track only to explode into thousands of pieces of digital code. I'm well aware that is what it is supposed to be but it that takes away a lot of the ability to relate to the film, not to mention the feeling of any real danger......... thats just my opinion.

    I think what this film WILL have is some incredibly awesome cinematography, visuals and action scenes, which is enough for me to be intrigued by it, but I'm not expecting a whole hell of a lot out of this.

    However, I've got to give the film its due and those scenes where those winged "assassin" looking bastards come flying down, that looks like some badass stuff! Same with the scene when they are fighting hand to hand combat and the girl does the flip into position to take out the "artificial people" with her sword. Very well shot indeed!
