Today, a new clip has been uncovered as an easter egg from the American Blu-ray release of the film and features David Warner's Edward Dillinger from the original Tron, and his son, Edward Dillinger Jr. played by Cillian Murphy in Tron: Legacy. This short clip features them talking on a chat service about the events of "The Next Day" and Sam taking over ENCOM.
The question is, will David Warner be back for the next Tron movie? The voice in the video sure sounds like him. You be the judge.

KX Mode...you tell it how I'd do it!!!! Awesome! Encom OS12 as the new major system... I knew Dillinger Jr. was up to something when he gave it all "Relax...it's under control...say it was all part of the plan...a little gift from Encom!" And then he gets straight on the phone, slightly off-screen, probably to his dad (who i agree with you is now the MCP!)

So here's what I think TRON 3 will be about based on the two videos.
Edward Dillinger Jr.'s father (David Warner) helped his son repurpose FLYNN OS/11 into ENCOM OS/12 thereby allowing his son to take full credit and in turn reach a measure of victory over Flynn through proxy. Meanwhile Dillinger Jr begins work on OS/12.1.
Flashback: After decompiling and learning how Flynn was digitized into his MCP's mainframe, Edward Dillinger Sr. reaches the same success and becomes the new MCP of ENCOM OS/12 but in humanoid form (watch the video where Dillinger Jr is chatting with his father). He figures out a way to slow his aging process. From inside the computer world he is able to help his son reach great success and has plans to run things "900-1200 times better than any human" in OS/12.1 after the world fully embraces the "free" OS/12 (thanks to Sam).
Quorra is still trying to adjust to life in the real world and questions her decision to leave the simulated world. Edward Dillinger Jr. discovers Quorra is a living, breathing Isomorphic Algorithm and charms her away from Sam, and back into the vibrant world of ENCOM OS/12.1; a system much larger and more complex than Flynn's paltry grid. Inside she learns she will become the Eve (something she learned from a Bible in Flynn's library) for a race of ISOs, free from danger, who will in exchange for existence help the MCP. "It is least you can do for me helping to rez your entire race." the MCP states.
Sam inserts a code freeze program called Miles (Latin for "Warrior") into ENCOM OS/12.1 and with the help of Roy Kleinberg's Ram program and Alan Bradley's Tron program digitizes into the mainframe of ENCOM OS/12.1. Despite the MCP's attempt to provide all her wants and needs Quorra slowly starts to realize the MCP's nefarious mission of taking over the real world. A race of bred Isomorphic Algorithms loyal to the MCP could cause dire consequences for the real world. She rethinks back to her training with Flynn: "take yourself out of the equation."
Meanwhile Miles is building up an army of light cycle warriors to battle against the MCP's army of ISOs. On the battlegrid a titanic SARK v2.0 (Edward Dillinger's improved avatar from Tron) battles his way through warriors to get to Miles. The two battle while Sam, Tron, and Ram race to search for Quorra. They find her in a chamber full highly specialized security programs tasked with protecting her from any and all outsiders.
This is as far as I got...

@Kinetic What I mean to say is that the next sequel will most likely have an updated visual look for the grid to keep things new and exciting. While Legacy's grid has had years to develop, the next film will not have that excuse for things to be all different.
The idea of Dillinger loading up something that he's been working on for years sounds like the perfect solution to me. We'll get a new look for the grid, a new main enemy, and a plausible reason for it all.

Nice! I mean, didn't we all expect him to be a bad guy after his 30 second cameo in TRON Legacy? O_o

@ahraman The Grid in Tron Legacy is completely different from the one in Tron. They (Clu2, Kevin and Tron) Built a completely new Grid from scratch. The old was was based in Encom, this one was based under Flynn's.

How do you top Tron: Legacy's visuals/setting? .. There's not enough time between sequels for the world to evolve again and we definitely need to go back there for the film to work.. so my guess is additional coding from outside is gonna shake things up and give us a new visual experience.

I don't follow Tronlore, but I noticed that they gave Dillinger Jr a lot of screentime for a minor character, so I guess that's why.
