Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer to Play Before Friday the 13th This Weekend

We've all seen the thirty second Super Bowl Ad. Now, come this Friday the 13th, we will be able to watch the very first full length Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer. That's right, this latest look at Michael Bay's giant robot sequel will unspool in theaters playing Warner Brothers' Friday the 13th remake. If you needed one more reason to watch Jason Voorhees chop up naked teenagers, this should be the incentive that pushes you over the edge.

We don't have a run time on the upcoming trailer, or any idea what footage will be shown. But you can rest assured that it will contain some never before scene moments that will have bloggers dissecting it shot for shot once it becomes available on the Internet. It will be the perfect Valentine's Day gift for that special someone in your life. An advanced look at robots followed by campsite carnage. What could be better?

So, make sure you check out Friday the 13th this weekend so that you can tell all your friends that you saw the new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer. Michael Bay's mega-opus will be released this summer on June 26th, 2009.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

Friday the 13th was released February 13th, 2009 and stars Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, Travis Van Winkle, Aaron Yoo, Derek Mears, Jonathan Sadowski, Julianna Guill. The film is directed by Marcus Nispel.

And don't get me wrong. I thought Resident Evil was fun, just not great. The movies weren't even scary, but the games at least made me piss my pants :P

LOL. I know what you mean :) I was thinking, oh snap, as I was reading. Like I said, TM is a weeder for me. One of several resources. I never go by one source, but it's a good reference. I can't afford to see every movie that comes out, so I use it to help me prioritize. I perfer not to take a chance and get disappointed, you know? I don't care what TM has to say about Watchmen, I'm there no matter what! See what I mean?

I wasn't planing on seeing Coraline until I saw the 87% rating, and it turned out to be really good. A surprise even.

Sorry to say, but I think Wing Commander and Silent Hill stayed closer to their games :P I liked them, but their ratings blow too :)

"Resident Evil" stayed truer to the games than you people give it credit for, you know. It keeps the feel, adds some of the same character, and follows the basic plotline. I've said it a thousand times before, and I know that Killer at least agrees with me. You don't want to see the same exact f*cking thing you did in the game. Then everything that happens you KNOW will happen, therefore you won't be scared. They don't have to have the same exact storyline as the games, as long as they KEEP what the games were all about: The Umbrella Corporation, zombies, and mutated evil undead creatures!

As far as SCARE FACTOR goes in movies? Come the f*ck ON! Do you honestly expect to keep getting scared every movie you see? After you've seen about five or six scary films, then you've grown up, and should be used to it. So get over the fact that the movies don't scare you anymore, and enjoy the f*cking film for what it is.

Oh, and D, this wasn't a rant at you... You just sparked it. LMFAO. I know what you mean, but I think it's a little weird to be basing your opinion on something said on a website. I NEVER listen to reviews... I just go and see a movie to form my OWN opinion on the subject matter.

It might be, Vamp. I just use it as a general weeder so I can prevent a headache from rolling my eyes so much in the theater. I watch it and will generally not see any movie if it's less than 50% anyway. However, if I'm a fan of something, even if it's 10%, I'll watch it and, more than likely, enjoy it. It's the bias factor.

For example, I know you like the Resident Evil movies. Not one of them got a rating higher than 34%. But guess what, I'm a fan of the games, and so I thought they were fun too, but they lacked in staying true to the source material. The films are not great. They could have been better. I'm still waiting for the best adapted videogame movie ever. Cross your fingers for Prince of Persia :)

I'm just saying I use TM as a weeder, not the final word, is all.

The Tomato Meter is overrated if you ask me, D. This is going to be great, I can tell that from all of the trailers... Well, at least it LOOKS like it's going to be great, but you can't go wrong with Bay, can you?

Anyway, I'm seeing this on Saturday, so I can't wait to see the trailer for it on the big screen!

  15. Err

yeah i actually exaggerated my disinterest in the jason movie.
to be completely honest, if one of my friends calls me up and says "hey man were gong to see the jason movie do you wanna go", what am i gonna say , "no way man, id rather sit here and watch 'ghost whisperer' instead", but 99% chance no one is gonna say that so chances are i wont waste my hard earned money on the jason movie.

I'm with you, err. I'll be watching the Tomato Meter through the week. Jason already has one bad review. If it doesn't do better than 50%, I'm not touching it.
