Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Sneaks Past Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs at the Box Office
The initial initial box office report indicated both films earned an estimated $42.5 million over the holiday weekend, but it seemed Fox's estimates for Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs fell a little short.
Final official box office numbers will be released later today, so we'll keep you updated on this box office race as soon as more information comes in.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

I can tell right now that the box office this year will, definitely, not live up to last year's box office.

Harry Potter will make alot of money in its first two weeks, i know in Toronto that IMAX viewings of Harry Potter will not be released on July 15 or even that weekend...due to Transformers still selling
curious question....how much money can IMAX expect for Harry Potter releasing it ten days or longer after its original release of July 15? i think IMAX is making a mistake in not release Harry Potter on july 15....anyone know in their city if IMAX is delaying the Harry Potter on its screens

I'm sure HP6 will make alot of money. The last one did. Also, because of the delay.

well harry potter is techincally released in 2 weeks not only one. but both ways, harry potter is deffinitely a huge movie for this year. especially after the delay from last year's release.
along with that. harry potter is deffinitely a money maker, all of its movies are in the top 50 of all time. so even though t2 made more money, you can't say that hp wont make big money.
+ t2 sucked, it truly did in my standards, I just wanna know how can other people like it. but oh- well it is there opinion. along with that HP will be released after 3 weeks than the release of t2. so you can't compare them in the same week's earnings, t2 would've been in the theaters for 4 weeks already, and HP will be just starting.
+ if you're comparing t2's 2 weeks 290 million to the 290 million harry potter 5 made. I do well remind you that the first one made it above the 300 million.
for ICE AGE, i think that t2 will deffinitely put ice age in his shade. not because its better, since I didn't see ice age. but because of the earnings of last week.
IDK, hollywood is turning sh*tty anyways, good thing warner bros is still standing up.
