Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Nears $450 Million Worldwide

It's only been in theaters for a couple of weeks, but the records keep mounting for the Michael Bay blockbuster. According to Variety, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has taken in $448.4 million worldwide.

Currently, the top worldwide film of the year was Angels & Demons, which has grossed $469 million worldwide since it's May release, a mark that +Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen should break by week's end.

Domestically, +Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has earned $228.4 million as of now, with strong showings from early this week with a $14.9 million Monday gross and $13.5 Tuesday gross.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

    Again this comes down to people who skipped the 1st week of the opening since it was either way to crowed or it was sold-out ... or Transformer geeks keep going back and back since they have nothing better to do!

    Still "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" was more hype and S/F then storytelling...It was way to looooooong ....and and the last 1/2 hour just seemed a mess of ideas and S/F.

    Final Rating: C-

    I went Opening day.....and well I honestly can't remeber what the hell "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" was about...

    The only thing I give "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" any "Kuddos" for, is that the Voice of "Fallen" was done by Tony Todd of "Candyman" fame!!!

    This weekend is all about "Public Enemies"!!!!!

    I don't understand why so many people hated this film. I personally loved it and it will most likely stay as my favorite movie of 2009 for the rest of the year. But I guess that's just me. This movie will most definately be the top grossing movie of 2009. I'm going to go see it for the fourth time next friday.

    Does Canadian box office #s go under domestic or worldwide?? We got theatres with 3-5 screens holding this film, plus its IMAX sold out or the first week...$220 million worldwide and $228 million domestic, i would have to say Canada put in an easy $75 million on that worldwide #s
