Megatron looks pure evil, and thats good enough for me.
I think people complain about their look a lot because they don't understand the meaning of the word "adaptation" which applies to any TV show, novel and comic book that has been transformed into a movie, as well as an important component of the transcending series of Transformers (Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Armada, Energon, etc.). They adapt to their surroundings and just because they don't look like they stepped directly out of the old 80's cartoon, doesn't mean this movie won't succeed. People need to open their minds, and realize that Optimus and the others have changed faces before and that doesn't mean instant failure.

Why people is complaining so much? Thats the same attitude that is making people dislike Spider-Man 3.
This designs look great. I dont actually like Megatron but...anyway you really prefere that old box-looking robots from the cartoons? I supose if they used the same designs people would be saying "why they didnt changed that for something that looks better on film"

these robots just look extremely gay! everybody in the movie industry is so flipn worried about the designs being up to times for the generation now, that they forgot what the real transformers looked like. yeah, they can come up with some cool stuff but they should have left the transformers alone. they screw everything up when they make movies out of old t.v. shows, other then the scenes with jessica simpson wearing next to nothing, the dukes of hazard flat out sucked. the transformers movie will probably be pretty cool, but they should have made them look real just like they did in the cartoons in the 80s. thay look like they all had sampled a little of the ooze that was left over from the original t.m.n.t. movies!!!!

I have never been interested in Transformers but when I saw the trailer for this at the cinema, I thought this is a must see movie for any action fan, It doesn't look like it is for the kids though, full on evil and action by the looks of the trailer, lets just hope it is indicative of the whole movie.
