Michael Bay debunks leaked Transformers 4 script report
"Some Internet sites this morning reported that some document recovery guy has found a legitimate 120 page script of Transformers 4. I can absolutely 100 percent say this is completely false. The only two people in the world that have our unfinished script are Ehren Kruger and myself. Also we are only up to page 70 in our T4 script. Maybe this guy has a cartoon or something else - but definitely not our movie!

According to the director, everything that follows is not indicative of what Transformers 4 will become. However, this is not the first time the filmmaker has reacted to a leaked script. The director revealed in September that the Ninja Turtles leaked script by André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum wasn't being used for the movie anymore. However, in November, Kevin Eastman's comments seemed to indicate that the writers are still working on the movie, so it is possible that the leaked script is still being used. With that in mind, take a look at the details from the Transformers 4 screenplay, which may or may not be legit.
The story takes place four years after Transformers: Dark of the Moon, which confirms an earlier report from November about the time frame of this sequel. The movie starts with a new global crisis in the form of a massive "space ball" descending towards Earth, which is discovered to be a ship which Unicron is aboard. While the Autobots try to contend with Unicron, the villain's cronies lead by Galvatron attack a government base in Colorado which houses Decepticons such as Megatron, along with an array of Cybertronian Earth weapons. After the base is destroyed, a female survivor known as Josie initiates a bizarre process that turns her into a transformer known as Circuit Breaker.
Unicron was first introduced in the 1986 animated movie The Transformers: The Movie, as a transformer who can change into a mechanical planet. This evil entity often uses the Decepticons to carry out his nefarious plans, which seems to fall in line with this story line. After Unicron destroys the Colorado base, he downloads the memories of all the Decepticons, including Megatron.
The script features new transformers such as Vector Prime, guardian of Primus, the one being that can stop the destruction of the Transformers' home planet, and even a few Dinobots. The screenplay was reportedly last revised on November 30. Since production will not begin until sometime next year, these details may change between now and then.

I would rather see them back on Cybertron. I think they need to intermix with the TV animated series to keep it in one universe.

I would see it this way: Unicron is just following the Allspark's (Vector Sigma's) energy signiture what if when he gets to Cybertron and finds it a barren wasteland he continues on to Earth. Thats why the Earth would be threatened.

I would Love for the new Transformers to feature Unicron. Michael Bay replicated destroying an asteroid in Armageddon so Unicrons fate may be a little predictable. Then again Unicron is a destroyer of planets so what could be interesting is that since Unicron is a threat to everything in the universe The Autobots and Decepticons would maybe have to team up in order to defeat him. That would would be very cool.

@zeus Unicron was in the original films a Giant Planet eating Robot Shaped like a Planet... Anyone who does take a good look back will actually find that Unicron is ACTUALLY another and possibly previous CYBERTRON... (The clues are there in the original Animated Versions... Get a hold of em and check it out!).
The idea of bringing in Unicron is a good one but NOT YET! The way they have written the films this far, it would make it so damn lame!!! Unicron Threatens Earth We all doomed! Yah dah yah Dah yah dah!!! Why is it always earth under threat?
Maybe if they could write in a way to Return to Cybertron... Now that could end up different... Seriously! Imagine the possibilities.

You need someone who can grasp that "Fantasy Element" while making the film look "Realistic"... There is no way you could make M.A.S.K anything more than a "Realistic Fantasy Cheese Fest With Major Excellent Effects"... BUT IT WOULD BE SO DAMN GOOD!

A whole host of rumours appear to be circulating with regards to T4... There has been suggestion that it will actually be a prequal, Anothersuggests it will be Return to Cybertron and obviously the now supposedly leaked "Rise of Unicron" or "Rise of Galvatron"...
Honestly, I feel any story involving Unicron and his Giant Plaet munching Sphere would stretch the "Suspension of Disbelief" for movie goers too far now... When we were young and watched it in the Cartoons, It was fair enough... But our children are far more intelligent now.
They play games such as COD4 and others, which offer a sense of realism that we did not have in the 80's... They are far more discerning and may not accept it... Sorry but a Bad idea if there is any truth... Personaly I doubt it very much. Bay has in my view not been the best director, but he does have that Pulse that knows the target audience want MORE REALISM! Even if Shockwave (The Snake thing in 3) was pushing it!
A slow moving Sphere? Sorry! Not enough Action... I can garuantee Bay has Better ideas!

lol....hope its really not the real script. in such a short desctription so much is wrong..they are trying to find primus.eeuuhh primus = cybertron? and galvatron attacks a base that holds megatron....so he turned into gollum or something? galvatron = megatron. and i read that galvatron uploads megatrons mind. lol so megatron gets revived yet again. whilest cool autobots stay dead..sigh. someone please tell m-bay to stop ruining or child hood series. transformers and tnmt i heared. whats next M.a.s.k?

Its too early for Unicron. They would have to go ahead like 15 years so Sam(Spike) and Carly could have their son Daniel and then they could bring in Hot Rod. And then they could make the story somewhat similar to the original. Also Bay has always said he would not put the Dinobots in his movies, so I'm pretty sure that this is a fake. And another thing I know he will have to bring Galvatron into the next one so I think they should take the parts of Megatron and combine them with the parts of Sentinal Prime, I think they could make him look really cool.

Never really was fan of the television series but i'll check this out to see if they can pull off the look of a Transformer that is the size of a planet. Sounds cool. Otherwise i am not excited for the movie but i am curious.

@bawnian-dexeus: What generation of toy was it, because I just looked it up. The Generation 1 toy was never released as was The Beast Wars one. The first Unicron toy to be released was the Armada toy line in 2003.

Now as for putting Unicron in next Transformers. I don't think Bay or Paramount can pull this off or make it believable. Unicron is much larger then Galactus, and Fox didn't even try to put the character in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. To pull this off you'd need the best CGI and special effects companies out there and I'd say a budget over 300 million and even then it might not be believable. It worked in the animated film, because it was animated. I don't know how Bay or Paramount would be able to pull this off, and I don't think it's a good idea.
