Transformers 4 begins production in Chicago this summer
Back in November, we reported that the director and Paramount Pictures were working on a deal to make Transformers 4 a co-production with China. The sequel would have reportedly been set in and shot in China, although that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Little is known regarding the story, except that it takes place four years after the events in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Michael Bay is directing from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, with Paramount already slating the action sequel for release on June 27, 2014.
Transformers: Age of Extinction comes to theaters June 27th, 2014 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Bingbing Li, T.J. Miller. The film is directed by Michael Bay.
