Transformers 3: The Dark of The Moon Official Title Revealed!
Seibertron has revealed that Transformers 3: The Dark of The Moon is the official title of Michael Bay's upcoming sequel, which arrives on July 1st of 2011. Collider was able to confirm this through sources close to the production, and a series of pre-order books now appearing on Amazon also verify that this is the title of the third movie in this popular franchise.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released June 29th, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

This is going to be awesome, at least to The Mime it will. Yeah, the title can use some adjustments but other than that....The Mime just can't wait for this one. Not to mention that The Mime will finally see Optimus Prime with his trailer....=D

I would say the point of the hot girl in bay's movies are just a simple eye locker. Keep us tuned into the film. That shouldn't be what Transformers films are about. It's about the robots and their struggles and their fights. Bay does this horribly.

Yes, the original cartoon is way better than the films - but Bays writing and ideas for this are gay. He just likes to hire hot women with no talent, so he can leer at them.

The entire franchise needs a reboot people, im sorry. First of all autobots are horrible looking, second they need more dialogue, third new actors and not models just because they look hot, fourth get a better scifi director, fifth a better screenplay.

The Mime is about to bust a cap in this mo' fo'n discussion. His films are subjective, some can say they wreak as hell's @SS. Some can say they're as cool as hell. To The Mime, they are cool, though the T2 could have had a better storyline, but other than that it's interesting.
Other thing, The Mime was sort of gotten excited when Bay announced in MTVMA that they will start on the sequel the day after. But was also worried that the amount of time they gave themselves to do it, 2 years, was a little too limited. That's a rush, too short to work on a great franchise like the "Transformers." They took some time to work on the T1, they should have done the same with T2.

Bay likes to have his characters talk fast and have no real intelligence. I find its not surprising since his films are just eye candy, I'm surprised that Shia is still in these films. I would have said I'll only do one film with you.
If someone else was handling this franchise, it would be even better or worse, depending on who it is.

The acting in Transformers 1 and 2 was just "cartoonish". No one really talks like that, they always talk fast i mean really fast especially john turturro that guy can't say a word without screaming that word, it's just stupid. If this movie doesn't take itself seriously, why should we ?

looking forward to this. the cars look great. especially the ferrari and whatever that little truck in the 3rd picture is.
hopefully bay will take a break after this and do another movie that is not transformers, before he gets to work on TF4, if there is one. i'd like to see another of his original movies like 'the rock', 'armageddon' or 'the island'. i know bad boys 3 is coming after TF3, but i'm still looking forward to an individual movie after that.

@ejk1 Megan wasn't fired. She was harassed by Bay enough times to the point she walked off set and then quit. Bay's an ass, even Shia admits he's strict as hell to work with, and there's even footage of him being an *sshole to the crew on, I believe is, the TF2 DVD bonus features.

@Daveactor7...The Mime just don't have the same view as those who ranked it...ok, The Mime admits, the story was a little off, but the actions and all that sh*t just took me away from that and sort of gave The Mime what he expects. Yeah, it went off a little but The Mime wouldn't rank it as "the worst pic ever"... at least not in his book.

The only explanation I can think of for this movie title is tied to a conspiracy that we never see the dark side of the moon and that the nazis had made a huge moon base up there, but yeah lol that's it, maybe half of the moon is a decepticon civilization, idk.
