Transformers 2 to Film at Penn State

Penn State is slated to be one of the filming locations for the highly anticipated DreamWorks feature film, Transformers 2, starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, and directed by Michael Bay.

According to The Daily Pennsylvanian, University spokeswoman Lori Doyle explained that filming would tentatively begin around June 12 with scenes using the exterior of the Quad.

According to Doyle, the extensive project is expected to involve about 200 people, 25 tractor-trailer trucks and cranes.

"They have their own landscaping people, they bring in their own catering, it's a huge operation," she said.

In addition, scenes will be shot at Psi Upsilon Tau fraternity house, better known as The Castle, and possibly on Locust Walk and Spruce Street, Doyle said.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

    I think Megatron will be in it, even if it only does a hint at the end of the film. Like a brief spark of light in his eyes, or a twitching finger,etc. But to be honest, I reckon he'll be there for most of the film.

    do you think megatron will be in it?
    in some of the comics they did rebuild him,
    and if they rebuilt him i can see him having alot more white on his body like the original,
    maybe even having some sword like megatron(in te cartoon a mace) but purple.
    just my opinion.

    and if they didnt have megatron theres plenty of other decepticons that could lead them, any new or starscream for atleast half the movie.

    20 robots eh?well I just hope they remake megatron the fist one was not what he should look..I hope the will make him look like the original megatron..It will be awesome..and I don't really care about the actors it's all about transformers yeahh...
