Many movies have action that takes place in Washington D.C. - it's a great way to show how severe a situation is, and the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is one of the films that is currently seeking approval to film in the city. An article by Politico.com which lists films seeking approval reveals an interesting fact however - apparently Fox is still moving forward with plans for the production of X-Men Origins: Magneto.

X-Men Origins: Magneto will follow the trend set by X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and focus on the lives of the character before the events of the three X-Men movies. At this time, no cast or production team has been set.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.
