Here the CEO speaks on how the fourth installment will introduce new characters as a result of the poor sales of Hasbro's Transformers: Dark of the Moon toy line.
"This is why Transformers 4 will have a new cast of [robot] characters and it will be a story revolving around these new characters."
Michael Bay will be directing from a script provided by Ehren Kruger.
Transformers 4 comes to theaters June 27th, 2014 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

Poor sales of Hasbro's Transformers: Dark of the Moon toy line. Only because they were made so cheap and no effort was put into them. The best was the ROTF toy line, they were made a lot better with awesome paint jobs. So they just need to make them better. And no repaints I am sick of seeing them.

I hate the Transformers movies... But that aside, that little banner thing looks horrible. Not only is the quality bad, but this series never used numbers before, so why is there the number "4" up there instead of "Untitled Fourth Transformers Film"? Everything about this is just awful, that thing looks fan made...
