TR2N Entirely in 3-D?

It seems that a new sequel will be even more high-tech than its groundbreaking predecessor. According to Ain't It Cool News, TR2N will be shot entirely in 3-D. Here's what the scooper had to say below.

I think the masses would love this tidbit of info. TR2N is going to be shot ENTIRELY in 3-D. They are really excited about what they are going to be doing with the Tron world in 3-D.

With new technology, they can actually wear the glasses at the monitors as they shoot & it will show them exactly how the 3-D will look so that they can get exactly what they are looking for.

If there has ever been a world that 3-D would totally embrace, I think it would be the world of Tron. Specifically, we are going to get a first person view from inside of a light cycle in the film. That should be a lot of fun.

This news hasn't been confirmed by the studio, and we'll be sure to update you on any new developments surrounding this anticipated new film.

Tron: Legacy was released December 17th, 2010 and stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheen, Anis Cheurfa. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski.

    Tron was f*cking great, a sequel will be better i just think that watching movies in 3-d is a child thing most kids like that idea of watching a movie in 3-d and those glasses, personally i am kind of a high class kind of guy and prefer to watch a movie well seated and normally depending on a certain theater I'll watch it with coffee or alcohol, i don't know whether anybody get's headaches after watching 3-d for 2 hours.

    2-Hours w/ the polarized lenses might give me a headache, but whatever, I'd buy my ticket now if they'd let me.

    @shelley
    thats, what i hear.

    maybe one day we'll move beyond the blue/red glasses and the at-home 3d experience will become less irritating.

    It will be fun if you see it in the theater, the at home 3D sucks; for example Journey to the Center of the Earth.
