    I hope they don't mess this movie up...but I am happy 2 see Colin Farrell popping up in more movies...he had me cracking up in Horrible Bosses...and i'm excited to see the upcoming Fright Night...so hopefully he does these remake roles some justice

    @luc-eccles-biron hey you never know though? the remake for total recall could be focused more on the character driven stuff, have more thrills, and less action then the original. colin just might be right for it. i know they wouldnt have given it to him unless they thought he was

    Hell, I'll give this a chance on the cast alone. Another note... As long as there are women with three breast in it, you're not going to hear me complain. Off subject... Why don't they remake/update The Monster Squad? I loved it and it screams remake.

    @pjwolsker @Brizzy First of all, what they call a "Remake" of Fright Night (1985) isn't one at all, this actually takes itself seriously and even presents itself as a horror movie. I don't know if you saw the original but it's cheesy as hell (80's) and much more of a comedy/horror with great makeup effects, that's what made it so good. Now for Colin Farrell, the only movie that I liked him in was Crazy Heart, I never really thought of him as a great actor much more of a "box office popcorn movie guy" which before now he had stay faithful to, now they gave him those two big roles and I regret it because those are two classics that should never have been remade in the first place and also because he sure isn't fit for the job, Arnold was!

    @johnnyblazetb82 - I agree, i've always liked colin. And have always wanted to see Colin as the lead man in a big action movie, never wanted it to be Total Recall but i think he will do a good job.

  17. The Narrator: The Better Man

    This remake is going to be more faithful to the source material than the original film. It has a fantastic concept, and the cast is looking solid. No one griped when True Grit was being remade. contrary to popular belief, Arnold is not untouchable. People are looking forward to the Conan remake, which looks weaker and weaker, while this film looks stronger and stronger. Hopefully the trailer won't disappoint.
