Toni Collette joins co-stars John Krasinski, Maya Rudolph and Cheryl Hines in Sam Mendes' upcoming relationship comedy for Focus Features.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Collette will play a college professor and close family friend of a couple (Krasinski and Rudolph) canvasing the country to find the best place to raise their unborn child. She's convinced that their kid will end up dysfunctional no matter where it's raised.

Production is set to begin this month in Connecticut.

Away We Go was released June 5th, 2009 and stars John Krasinski, Maya Rudolph, Carmen Ejogo, Catherine O'Hara, Jeff Daniels, Allison Janney, Jim Gaffigan, Samantha Pryor. The film is directed by Sam Mendes.
