Tom Vaughan has replaced Julian Farino as director of 20th Century Fox romantic comedy What Happens in Vegas, starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. Vaughan will direct from a script by Dana Fox.

Variety reports that Farino has dropped off the project for scheduling reasons, and is now attached to direct Paramount's The Year of Living Biblically.

Set in the city of Las Vegas, the storyline revolves around two strangers who wake up to discover they got married sometime during the previous night's drunken festivities, with one of them winning a huge jackpot on the other's quarter. The couple set out to undermine each other and claim the winnings, only to fall in love along the way.
