No the original synopsis, was based on BTK but after Fincher dropped it for goon, it became this rom com, which kind of sucks.
It was a while back that it changed synopsis, i remember seeing the article on AICN & Worst previews.
Because Fincher and serial killers are always masterpieces

I think you're confusing the title with another proposed-film. The synopsis provided has nothing to do with the BTK killer, and the genre for the film is slated as comedy, romance. Not exactly Serial Killer material.
A film about BTK with Fincher at the helm would have been interesting, though.

This film sucks, i wish they kept the original storyline.
This was originally meant to be based on the BTK killer of Wichita and directed by David Fincher, but after he turned it down for Goon, they changed the whole bloody story and screenplay, i mean why?
