Tom Arnold Joins The Cast Of P.D.R.
The film is based on the true story of Jim Ellis (Howard), who in the 1970s started a black swim team in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Arnold will play the racist swim coach of the rival team.
Filming is already underway in Louisiana; a December release is scheduled for P.D.R.
Pride was released March 23rd, 2007 and stars Terrence Howard, Bernie Mac, Kimberly Elise, Tom Arnold, Brandon Fobbs, Alphonso McAuley, Regine Nehy, Nate Parker. The film is directed by Sunu Gonera.
