Todd Phillips is set to produce and possibly direct the comedy, The Chadster for Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment.

The film revolves around a best man who finds his position threatened when an eccentric, long-lost childhood friend shows up at the wedding, causing all sorts of trouble, notes Variety.

Michael Samonek will write The Chadster; a production schedule has yet to be set.
