Titanic 10th Anniversary Edition to Hit Stores November 20
According to DVD Town, Paramount Home Entertainment will be bringing out a 10th Anniversary Edition of Titanic on November 20.
Synopsis:
Brock Lovett is a treasure hunter looking for a famous diamond among the debris of the Titanic. He finds a sketch in a safebox in which a young woman is wearing the diamond on a necklace. After showing the drawing on a TV program, Rose Dawson, an old lady comes forward claiming to be the woman in the drawing. She is brought to the explorer's vessel to help them determine the location of the diamond, but instead she tells everyone the "real" story of Titanic's sinking. She was a 17 year-old rich girl sailing to the USA to get married with Cal Hockley. Her mother was forcing her to get married so she felt trapped inside her own world. During the trip she tries to commit suicide and she is saved by Jack Dawson, a third-class passenger who travels around making pencil drawings. They get to know each other better until they fall in love. Hockley and Rose's mother try to separate them several times. Amidst all this confusion the Titanic hits an iceberg and starts to sink.
This film will be released on a two disc DVD but there's no word yet on pricing, extras or if it will be on HD-DVD.

....what could be on the "10th Anniversary Edition of Titanic" that is not already on the "Titanic (Three-Disc Special Collector's Edition)" DVD?? The only thing that wld be nice would be a trivia track or a complete directors cut!
One caveat: there's a four-disc Region 2 version available in Europe with parodies and other extras, but no one is offering an official reason why it's not offered in the States.???

Ummmm.....WHY?? Just becuase it's been 10 Years or to rape a customer again?? When in 2005 a "Titanic (Three-Disc Special Collector's Edition)" was already released!! The The three-disc set has an abundance of materials; the galleries, for example, contain 628 on-set photos, 447 personal photos from the cinematographer, 532 storyboard sketches, 148 technical drawings, and even a 72-page bibliography.
