Ricky Gervais has just posted a casting update on his own official blog. Apparently, Tina Fey, John Hodgman, Christopher Guest, and Jeffery Tambor have all jumped aboard Gervais' latest comedy project for Warner Brothers titled This Side of the Truth.

The plot revolves around a contemporary world where no one has ever dared tell a lie before. Gervais will play a man that tells the very first lie and uses it for financial gain. Also starring in the film are Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Jonah Hill, and Louis C.K.

The film is currently shooting in the Los Angeles area. The film will be released later this year.

The Invention of Lying was released October 2nd, 2009 and stars Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Garner, Jonah Hill, Louis C.K., Jeffrey Tambor, Fionnula Flanagan, Rob Lowe, Tina Fey. The film is directed by Ricky Gervais, Matthew Robinson.
