Timur Bekmambetov directing Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Bekmambetov also spoke about the upcoming 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, which is being set up at Fox, and he indicated he would like to direct himself.
"Yes, it is happening. We are in development with a writer and Ridley Scott's people. It's early in development. I would like to direct myself - it's a great tale that I love from my childhood. It will be a modernised version of the famous book."
He also discusses Wanted 2, which he said would likely go after Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter since star
James McAvoy is working on X-Men: First Class.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter comes to theaters June 22nd, 2012 and stars Benjamin Walker, Anthony Mackie, Dominic Cooper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Alan Tudyk, Rufus Sewell. The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea comes to theaters in 2013.
Wanted 2 is in development and stars James McAvoy.

@Wolf1979... i agree, that neeson would be a perfect lincoln, but not sure in this type of lincoln film... btw, neeson never turned down lincoln, he just thinks he might be getting past the point of portraying him because the film is taking so long to make.
