Tim Allen locked to play Buzz Lightyear yet again if Disney and Pixar decided to make Toy Story 4
That said, this doesn't mean that Pixar is going to make another feature-length sequel for the franchise. It just might mean that Tim Allen, and some others in the cast, signed up for multiple films some time ago.
However, with the recent success of Toy Story 3, Disney and Pixar have to at least be thinking about a fourth film.
"We are thrilled with the audiences response to Toy Story 3, and fans will be seeing more of the Toy Story characters in a short film next year. At this time, we have nothing to announce regarding another full-length feature." Stated a representative for Disney.
When asked at the Los Angeles Premiere of Toy Story 3 about the possibility of a fourth film what was Tom Hanks response?
"Bring it on."
Should a story on this develop further we will be sure to bring all the information to you.
Toy Story 3 was released June 18th, 2010 and stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Ned Beatty, Don Rickles, Michael Keaton, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger. The film is directed by Lee Unkrich.

If the story is right; "Bring it on"! But, it will be hard to make it another GOOD STORY.

Yeah Iceman, I fought it hard. Watching these characters all of these years made those last scenes really effective to say the least. The Pixar wizards are leaps and bounds above all others. They cater to adults and not just the kids. I'd love to see another one. "Bring it on."

@soylentgreen2 I can't believe I'm saying this and you won't believe it either but I couldn't agree more. You said it perfect. They don't need to make a 4th one, unnecessary.

A fourth is unnecessary. It was always about Andy, but Andy has left the building :P

I agree with landtimes. Why don't they leave things on a high and stop trying to make Sequel after Sequel to Toy Story.

Does anybody have any advice for me? Im a sophmore in HS and Im really intresed in being a film direcotr, but journalism sounds really good. Directing movies sounds a little "dreamish" to me at this point, Id love to do it but thats like becoming a rap star, and I also think I could do better than the art institute of raleigh NC.

They really shouldn't do it. Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending for those characters and to keep it going would just ruin it all.
