    I grew up watching the thundercats when they first aired in the 80s and I must say this does look cool, but wish that there was some dialog to go with it so I can make a firm judgment call. I was just thinking that if this new series goes well why cant they make a movie. Look at Avatar it had big walking blue looking cat people and the movie did well.

    OH! MY! GOD!!!!! FINALLY! THUNDERCATS! HO! It looks very different, but in a great way. Adds more depth to the history of the ThunderCats. Kind of like an origins story in an alternate timeline. Although, I have to ask, is Panthero not in the new series.

    I'm loving what I'm seeing. I wasn't a big fan of the original Thundercats (don't kill me, I just didn't watch the show, doesn't mean I hated it or anything). So this will all feel fresh for me.

    I saw this earlier on CBM.com, thanks to info from @dan1, and I missed Mumm-Ra's appearance, but did see him on this second viewing. This reminds me somewhat of Airbender, at least in the landscapes and grand palaces. Truly, though, it is reminiscent of the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe remake from about ten years ago. Like that project, the new Thundercats show seems intent on fleshing out the characters and the worlds they inhabit. It looks very good.
