Threshold Entertainment to Make Aphrodite IX

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Threshold Entertainment, Platinum Studios and Top Cow Prods. will be adapting the Top Cow comic Aphrodite IX. It will be a 3-D feature.

The film follows an assassin who happens to be a cyborg. She suddenly realizes who she is and tries to find her past.

No casting decisions have been made on who will play the female lead.

"This is just the kind of franchise we love: a visually stunning world, amazing effects, a great story and a hot, kick-ass babe in the lead," stated Threshold's Larry Kasanoff. "What could be better?"

    Awesome! The best part is that it will be a 3D feature. No need to worries about them casting the wrong actress for the title role or bad acting. As long as it can compete (quality wise) with Advent Children, Resident Evil: Degeneration or Beowulf. Just not another repeat of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars 3D feature - Sucks balls!
