The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender and follows the adventures of the Avatar after Aang - a passionate, rebellious, and fearless teenaged girl from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra. With three of the four elements under her belt (Earth, Water, and Fire), Korra seeks to master the final element, Air. Her quest leads her to the epicenter of the modern "Avatar" world, Republic City - a metropolis that is fueled by steampunk technology. It is a virtual melting pot where benders and non-benders from all nations live and thrive. However, Korra discovers that Republic City is plagued by crime as well as a growing anti-bending revolution that threatens to rip it apart. Under the tutelage of Aang's son, Tenzin, Korra begins her airbending training while dealing with the dangers at large.

@ROFLitschristian -- You're right. This, along with Death Note(2006) and Looney Tunes are arguably the best animations I've ever watched. Avatar is the odd one out, because Tom & Jerry was a great show, too.

@dan1 I loved the first book. So graphic and intense. I'm quite curious to see how the PG-13 rating will pan out. I'm sure its gonna be great, but certainly not as violent as the book.

@corey Catching Fire was great, but Mockingjay was even better. Enjoy.

@dan1 So I've heard! M. Night couldn't even attempt to pronounce the character's name right in the film so that was a huge fail. Hopefully this weekend, once I finish Catching Fire, I can pop in the first disc.

@corey F*ck M. Night, and f*ck his sh*tty goddamn "adaptation". That blasphemy doesn't count, man.
Nevermind that bullsh*t, the series is completely, COMPLETELY different.

@dan1 I'm working on checking out the series now. I was a stubborn boy when the show aired, lol. I have the volumes for the first season because someone gave them to me as a Christmas gift years ago. After seeing these clips, I may want to check out the original series.
M. Night never really made me want to go back and check out the series, ya know? lol

@corey Absolute fail, man. The original series ranks right up there with Batman TAS and Justice League for me.

Was never a fan of even the series, but these are pretty cool.

Looks fantastic. The humor is back, and the action is great. Just what we needed after M. Night's sh*tfest.
@diaigma You see these?
