That damn "Marvel Avengers" logo kills it for me every time... completely redundant for it to take up 50% of the banner. I mean, at this point is anyone seeing this at their local cinema thinking, "Woah that looks cool wonder what it is.." Ridiculous.

@ghostman I didn't know that before. I thought it would only would be told from Captain America's perspective, considering what has been said about that before. I guess the Avengers movie being from the rest of the Avengers characters perspective, would make better sense anyways.

@bruce-ha@themoviefanatic The Avenger's won't necessarily be all about Captain America's perspective, but it will be about how Steve Rogers grows accustomed to his 'new' environment and how the world he once knew has changed. I'm sure the story will be told from every characters point of view. How Stark doesn't want anything to deal with it, how Banner is trying to control his anger, the emotional aspect of ho Thor sees Loki and saving earth from his brother's destruction once again, how Nick Fury sees his goal coming to life. Everybody's perspective will be shown, but mostly from Caps view. As for Avenger's sequel Whedon talked about how he wants it to be more close together/personnel and emotional for the team.

@bruce-ha Well, The Avengers will be from Captain America's persective. I'm not sure who's persective it will be from in The Avengers 2.

@ghostman You see, that's who i am. I always set my expectations high because i love these characters. But again, i can not argue with the initial feeling i'm getting from these posters and trailers. This looks like a more kid friendly movie than Iron Man and Captain America.... It just does.

Once again, i know this won't be the movie i was hoping it to be but it will still be a good action movie. I'm not gonna get my hopes up but the scene when Hulk catches a fallen Iron Man... it's a scene i don't want to miss out on.

@Joshua-Hollaway I'm not a DC fanboy. I love both Marvel and DC. Captain America was a great movie. Iron Man is to this point still my favorite comic book character movie. The costumes are too "Green Lantern"-ish. Too many bright colors for me.

@themoviefanatic Well that's good. Wonder if Avengers 2 will be from Tony's perspective.

@bruce-ha I'm pretty sure The Avenger's will not be on the same level of redundancy and sloppiness that Green Lantern was. The film is in great hands, Whedon created Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly/Serentiy those were sci-fi/action/adventure hits! I'm confident enough to say this will be a good summer movie. don't set your expectations too high or else you might be disappointed.

The Avengers may have some parts that are "kid-friendly," but it is also a Whedon production. There will be plenty of sexual innuendo and other adult themes held within the film.

@bruce-ha Btw you do know that is Thor and Captain America comic book outfits..You want Captain America to wear skinny jeans with thong sandals? Thats like saying Batman is kiddy because he dresses like a bat; your logic has all kind of contradictions but hey..

@themoviefanatic A more "Captain America" and "Iron Man" type of movie. More adult. But i haven't seen the movie yet, it's just my initial feeling so don't eat me alive.

@ghostman I guess that's true aswell. Marketing is a big part of it. But again, the initial feeling i get from the Trailers and Banners is that this will be more kid friendly than the previous movies like Iron Man and Captain America. This will be more like Green Lantern, is what i think.

@bruce-ha Pirates of the Caribbean is from Disney, does that make it "kid friendly"? no since it's not. And just because those are their costume desgins doesn't mean this is kid friendly, nor does Avengers kids meal toys or figurines at Toys R Us. The Dark Knight Rises has tons of kid aimed toys and stickers and even lunchboxes! doesn't mean that film will be "kid friendly" It's all part of a thing called marketing. You market your product so that people and fans alike will go see it.

  27. bruce_ha

@themoviefanatic Yes, you said it yourself. Disney. That word alone makes this a kid friendly movie. But hey, all is good. I'm sure it will be action packed nonetheless. Just not what i was expecting.

@bruce-ha Well, what you said about it having alot of ties to McDonalds, ToysRus, and Lego. Of course that's going to happen because its a Disney and Marvel and Paramount movie, mostly because of Disney and Marvel, it will have those ties to McDonald, ToysRus, and Lego, etc. I knew that would happen from the get-go.
