Katt Williams, Tracy Morgan and Malinda Williams have joined Ice Cube in First Sunday, a Screen Gems comedy about two petty thieves who try to rip off a church, according to Variety.

Playwright David E. Talbert wrote the script and will make his directorial debut with the film, which begins shooting this week. The joint production of Cube Vision and the Firm is scheduled for a theatrical release on Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend 2008 -- the same frame Screen Gems debuted Stomp the Yard this year.

The cast also includes Regina Hall, Chi McBride and Loretta Devine.

First Sunday was released January 11th, 2008 and stars Ice Cube, Katt Williams, Tracy Morgan, Loretta Devine, Michael Beach, Keith David, Regina Hall, Malinda Williams. The film is directed by David E. Talbert.
