Thor Opens Odin's Vault Photos

Thor kicked off the summer movie season last week in grand fashion, taking over $65 million at the domestic box office. Marvel has released a new set of photos from Thor, which showcases items you may have missed inside the vault of Odin (Anthony Hopkins). Take a look at these new photos below, which features the Eternal Flame, Infinity Gauntlet, Warlock's Eye, and more.

Thor was released May 6th, 2011 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Kat Dennings, Clark Gregg, Idris Elba. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh.

    After such a strong first film, Marvel should lock Branagh in for the sequels, with there being no shortage of material for the writers to work with! Capt. America will have to be VERY strong to top Thor and I think it's going to tough for them but I hope it's at least as good.

    @bane5000 According to the Marvel database, the cube has Geri us origins but mainly created by A.I.M.'s like Moduk and such...other origins go back to the skrulls...Thanos....etc

    I like how people swear up and down the Infinity Gaunlet wasnt in the film, its there for that split second when The Destroyer kills the last two Frost Giants, im glad i didnt blink at that moment and saw it myself :]

    @bawnian-dexeus...No problem buddy, i like to study up on Marvel easter eggs, makes the movie more interesting to me and look forward to what things may come...Maybe, cuz didnt they say in the Cap film that Hydra is gonna be looking for something in a tomb thats connected to Odin and Asgard, or is that just the Cosmic Cube?

    The infinity gauntlet... the cosmic cube... one word - Thanos. Bring him in for an Avengers sequel, and I'd be blow away. Sure, ti's a long ways away, and I should be focusing on the films we have coming out now, but I can't help but entertain the thought of having Thanos take on the Avengers (and possibly Odin?) on screen. Gahhh!

    And is anyone familiar with the "warlocks Eye" thing? It holds a close resemblance to the Eye of Ra throughout Egyptian mythology, right?
