Todd89, orlando bloom insulted johnny depp?, when did that happen, and what did he insult him about?. If thats true, then someone needs to let jerry bruckheimer know, so that he'll never use orlando bloom in any of his future movies, because johnny depp is too nice of a person to insult!.

Depp is back on board for it, he just needed time.
As for Bloom, I know he was playing a part, it's the way he acts sometimes. And he insulted Depp, which is one of the many reasons he won't return. In my eye he's not that great an actor, he doesn't let himself feel for his characters anymore.

Thor I cannot wait for... as for Pirates. Eh. I personally think that Rob Marshall is going to screw it up.

The Narrator: The Better Man
Thors cast is epic. Now I await production.
As for another pirates film, I do not trust Rob Marshal with the series but I will wait and see. To be honest I liked all three even if the latest was dragged on a bit.
And to Todd and Fratson, obviously Bloom was better in LOTR. He was f*cking Legolas for crying out loud. He played his part well in pirates because his character was supposed to be like that.
Anyways, I may have missed something since their making an official release date which means Depp is for sure on board. Last I heard he was shaky on doing it after the dude got fired or laid off or retired or something. Either way two great movies one month...I'm ready.

Yeah, my opinion is in agreement with IUH's. Every movie has the possibility of sucking majorly. Doesn't matter what series.

Judging by your username, you're completely bias. Of course Pirates 4 has a high chance of sucking...Jerry Bruckheimer can't stop that. New directors taking on an already established series is always a wait-and-see situation, unless the director has shown he's capable of such a challenge...which Rob Marshall hasn't. I have high hopes for this movie, though, because I'm a huge fan of the series. I'm just not assuming it'll be great.

Luckily, Pirates 4 wont suck, because jerry bruckheimer "the producer", wont let that happen, especially since its a pirates of the caribbean movie, that they'll be making again!.

I AM FRATSON
glad bloom and Kira are out of this franchise. I hated Bloom's character, much better in LOTR (like Todd had stated). I am looking forward to Thor. I think that movie is going to surprise everyone who has no real interest in teh character.

As of Spiderman, stick to your guns Raimi and finish off your other trilogy. By the way, just pull a Peter Jackson and let someone else direct for a change, your name can still be in print.

I'm looking forward to the new Pirate film. Kira and Bloom have reported that they don't have any interest in the fourth outing. Their loss, not mine.
Personally I like both of them but I liked Bloom in LOTR a lot more. As of Kira she's better in English films.
I was never a big fan of Thor, I heard about him and have read a few comics with him in but I would rather see another Blade film without Snipes than watch a Norse God battle evil in our time.

i thought i had heard somewhere that Pirates 4 was on hold, too. glad to hear this isn't the case. as long as they've been working on Thor, that film better be HUGE! very high expectations!

As long as gay ass Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley aren't in it then the movie will be great! Just like the first one was.

Looking forward to both. I just hope they keep Bloom and Knightly's characters out of the Pirates film because I felt like their story was wrapped up nicely in the last movie.
