Thomas Haden Church leaves the Showtime original
With the series presently in pre-production in London it is set to begin shooting in the next few weeks. Church wanted to leave because of scheduling conflicts with a film he's trying to put together. No reason was given for why Forlani left. She was replaced with the British actress Tamsin Greig.
The show stars Matt LeBlanc in a parody of himself. Episodes follows "a successful British husband and wife (Greig) comedy team who are lured by Hollywood to produce a new version of their hit series for a U.S. audience." They quickly realize that the American execs have ruined their show and soon their marriage starts to unravel.
Church had been tapped to play a larger-than-life network executive. No replacement has been named for his role.
Showtime, which has ordered seven episodes of this show, has yet to announce when it will premiere.

i have no idea why i want to see this series so bad, but i cannot wait for this. i'm super stoked that Church is out and even forlani. onward and upward.
