Thom Beers, the producer behind the hit reality shows Ice Road Truckers, Deadliest Catch: Crab Fishing in Alaska and Monster Garage, will tackle zombie bikers in his first film and comicbook project, according to Variety.

Beers' Original Prods. and comicbook publisher Devil's Due are moving forward with Chopper Zombie, about a motorcycle builder who refuses to sell his formula for a new superfuel to a dangerous corporation. When a team of thugs drowns him in his own toxic creation, he rises from the dead with a score to settle.

Todd Livingston will write the graphic novel, with Scott Keating is handling the art.

Beers and Original prexy Philip Segal will produce the picture, which they hope to put into production sometime next year.

Devil's Due will launch the book at next week's Comic-Con in San Diego alongside a custom zombie chopper assembled by Monster Garage's creators. Title hits store shelves July 30.
