Jason Sudeikis and Malin Akerman circle This Is Where I Leave You
The film follows a highly dysfunctional and non-religious family, who has to sit Shivah for seven days as a dying request from their father. The film is based on a Jonthan Tropper novel and is being directed by Greg Berlanti.
Zac Efron, Leslie Mann, Jason Bateman and Goldie Hawn are also making deals to play roles in the Warner Bros. drama.
The film is being produced by Paula Weinstein, Jeff Levine, Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot.
Production for the project is expected to begin in September.
