This Is 40 Photo Finds Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in a Cake Fight

Judd Apatow's next directorial effort is This Is 40, a comedy spin-off of Knocked Up that focuses on that previous film's secondary characters, married couple Pete and Debbie. Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann will be reprising these characters, alongside Judd Apatow's real-life daughters Maude Apatow and Iris Apatow, starring as Pete and Debbie's two kids. Universal Pictures has released a first-look cast photo from this coming-of-midlife crisis dramedy, which you can check out below.

This Is 40 comes to theaters December 21st, 2012 and stars Megan Fox, Jason Segel, Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd, Melissa McCarthy, Chris O'Dowd, Albert Brooks, John Lithgow. The film is directed by Judd Apatow.

    Biggest comedy anticipation of the year for me. Apatow never fails. Funny People was classic; this will be too. Rudd was hilarious in Knocked Up, him being the same character here I expect him to be in this as well.

    Paul Rudd is great; also...as noted they were great in Knocked Up. This isn't a "sequel" as much as it is "their story" so... I'm still pretty excited about what they'll do with it
