@dan1 I think with his powers/god-ness taken from him by Odin & banish from Asgard, he's mortal w/"Hercules" kind of strength. So he can be harmed, tasered, bleed, etc....

@dan1 I'm nowhere near well-versed in Thor's Marvel backstory, but I think that at the point he gets tasered, he is stripped of his powers, leaving him nothing more than his alter-ego, Donald Blake.

Question: if Thor is the God of Thunder, wouldn't a taser and some earthly drugs do nothing to him? It seems the common punch line here is whenever Thor gets going about being a god, how dare thee, yadda yadda, he gets cut short and dramatically reacts to our puny technology and sciences. Just seems like the big guy should be immune to crap like that.

I don't think they should release these particular clips, as someone with no idea what the comics are about these are really making me not want to see it. I know nothing of Captain America either but those trailers made me want to see it.
