I'm still not really impressed by this trailer.
It still looks like Spiderman 1 but now with Lizard.

@ghostman I thought Thomas did a good job as the Sandman in Spider Man 3. He actually looked the part, they never should have gotten Topher to play Venom. Venom is a villain all to himself and having him play a 30 mintute part was a slap in the face to the character. Plus emo Parker was horrible, I hope they bring Venom back in this series or even Carnage too. Could you imagine them two in the movie? I have no gripes with Lizard either, movies tend to tweak the way characters look so im open to new ideas

WOW, that was impressive to say the least.....wonder if there is a tease of a second villain or are we to believe it is the Green Goblin? 3 huge comic book movies will definitely make this a good summer

Loving the vibrant colors like they are from the comics, this new Origin story looks really interesting; and even though Lizard doesn't have snout he could be the best Spidey villain since Spider-Man 2's Doc Ock. I'm excited to see this no doubt, but not too excited like I am for The Avengers. On a side note, this looks way better than Spider-Man 3!

Way back in 2010 when I heard they were doing a reboot of the Spider-Man series, I thought it would be awful, I even thought Andrew and the new suit, even the logo were awful. Over the last year I've realized I need to give this movie a chance, after all I'm in it for Spider-Man, not Tobey Maguire. I really think this movie will be great, I loved the original trilogy, but I like the different direction they are going with this movie, it truly brings out Spider-Man's color, there's more depth to the story. I'm definitely seeing this July 3rd in IMAX, hopefully I won't get vertigo from the web swinging.

The entire thing looked like one big red and blue CGI nightmare, and what's more, the CGI didn't even look that great. I don't see this being any sort of improvement over the Raimi films. Not in the least.
