Third Haywire Trailer
Director Steven Soderbergh has set out to revolutionize the action thriller with his intelligent take on the genre, Haywire. He also hopes that the film turns MMA superstar Gina Carano into a household name amongst action film aficionados. Word is, he will succeed. The third trailer for this hard-hitting shoot-em-up has arrived, and it's an explosive force of ass-kicking fun. Check it out below, brainiacs.
Haywire was released January 20th, 2012 and stars Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton, Michael Angarano, Mathieu Kassovitz. The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh.

i'm typically not a fan of soderbergh's work, with the exception of a few movies. but this looks pretty badass. looks like a badass action flick, and there's nothing wrong with that.

The Narrator: The Better Man
Well, it wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting something great. With a decent cast, a decent (if redundant) plot premise, and Soderbergh helming the project, I thought this could be pretty good. Instead I got... this.
Granted, it doesn't look terrible, but it's nothing I'd want to spend money on in theaters either, and I'm sure most would agree with me.
We've just seen too many fast fist fight scenes, films full of betrayal and revenge, and forced one liners. throw in a mix-match cast, and poor cinematography, and the trailer does very little to get me to want to see the actual film.
